The Odyssey 3D is optimized for 3D effects, enhancing terrain, distance, and object separation beyond 2D. It's compatible with popular games like Stellar Blade and The First Berserker: Khazan. But here's where it gets controversial: while the Odyssey 3D is impressive, it's not the only high-end gaming monitor on the market. Another model, the 27-inch Odyssey G6, offers a 1,040 Hz refresh rate through Dual Mode and native QHD support up to 600Hz. It's designed to help players track targets and see fine details during high-speed movement. It's also AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync compatible, providing instant performance boosts. For those who prefer OLED, Samsung has the 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8. It features a 4K QD-OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate, glare-free viewing, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. However, brightness is limited to 300 nits. It's DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 compatible with up to 80Gbps bandwidth and supports both AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync. Finally, Samsung introduced two other high-resolution Odyssey G8 models. The 32-inch G80HS model offers 6K resolution at up to 165Hz, while the 5K, 27-inch Odyssey G8 supports up to 180Hz and Dual Mode boosting to 360Hz in QHD.
