Ice Pikmin: A Chilling New Addition
Starting November 1st, keep an eye out for Ice Pikmin seedlings near Restaurants and Roadside locations. These location restrictions might seem odd, but it's how Pikmin Bloom introduces new Decor Pikmin. As you nurture your friendship levels with these icy sprouts, they'll evolve into unique Decor Pikmin. Specifically, Ice Pikmin found near Restaurants can become adorable Chef Hat Decor Pikmin, while those from Roadside locations can sport either Sticker or Coin Decor. Here's a bonus: Rare Decor variants will also be available for all Coin Decor Pikmin!
4th Anniversary Flower Box Event: A Blooming Celebration
The anniversary festivities don't stop there! The 4th Anniversary Flower Box Event is also launching this November. And get this: for the very first time in Pikmin Bloom, the special monthly Decor Pikmin—the 4th Anniversary Flower Box—will be available for Ice Pikmin! Yes, you read that right, Ice Pikmin get to have this exclusive decor!
But here's a nostalgic treat: the 3rd Anniversary Cupcake and Puzzle: Autumn Memories 2021 Decor Pikmin will be making a grand return to join the party! If you missed them the first time around, now's your chance to add them to your collection.
Event Details: A Month of Fun
Mark your calendars! The anniversary event runs from November 1st at 12:00 a.m. local time to November 30th at 11:59 p.m. local time. Get ready to complete Event Challenge missions to snag seedlings for the highly sought-after 4th Anniversary Flower Box Decor Pikmin.
For each Event Challenge mission you conquer, you'll be rewarded with a random in-app prize. These can include everything from Colorful Flowers and 4th Anniversary Flower Box Decor Pikmin seedlings to flower petals and other useful items. And this is the part most people miss... When the Big Flower at the center of the stage finally blooms, you're guaranteed to receive a Gold Seedling on top of your random rewards. Talk about a sweet deal!
And that’s not all! As a special anniversary bonus, you'll receive a guaranteed Gold Seedling for a 4th Anniversary Flower Box Decor Pikmin after completing the very first Event Challenge mission, which simply requires you to walk 1000 steps. Easy peasy!
Festive Missions and Mii™ Character Costumes
At the start of the event, you'll receive missions to collect Colorful Flowers. By completing these missions, you'll earn seedlings for Puzzle: 2021 Fall Memories Decor Pikmin and unlock event-inspired costumes for your Mii character! Dress to impress while you're out and about.
Brilliant Mushrooms and Mystery Boxes
Keep an eye out for Brilliant Mushrooms popping up during the event. Destroying these glowing fungi will reward you with Mystery Boxes. These boxes contain a treasure trove of goodies, including Colorful Flowers and seedlings for 3rd Anniversary Cupcake Decor Pikmin, among other surprises! To maximize your mushroom-busting efficiency, be sure to send out your 4th Anniversary Flower Box, 3rd Anniversary Cupcake, and Puzzle: 2021 Fall Memories Decor Pikmin, as they're the strongest against these mushrooms.
Pikmin 4 Integration: Decor Pikmin in the Main Series!
If you own a Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 system and the Pikmin 4 game, there's even more to celebrate this November! A free update, launching in November 2025, will introduce exciting new features to the single player experience. This includes the ability to adjust creature activity levels, allowing you to choose between a more relaxed experience (enemies take more damage and won't attack first) or a fiercely challenging one (tougher enemies and fewer Pikmin).
But here's where it gets controversial... This update also introduces Decor Pikmin to Pikmin 4 for the very first time! Keep your eyes peeled and use the Field Camera to capture photos of Pikmin sporting special outfits. You can add these uniquely dressed Pikmin to your squad and customize your photos with a variety of stamps, filters, and more. This is a big step for the Pikmin franchise, but some purists might argue that this feature feels a bit out of place in the main series. What do you think?

- Colorful Flowers can be obtained as Event Challenge rewards, from flower planting, from Mystery Boxes received when destroying Brilliant Mushrooms, and with the purchase of an Event Premium Pass, a limited-time bundle pack, or a Web Store Exclusive Bundle Pack. Once the event concludes, the Colorful Flowers missions will disappear, and the Colorful Flowers will have no purpose outside of this event.
